Masterfully spearheaded by Venezuelan chef Marielvi Falvino, the Z’s cuisine is a delicious excuse for bringing people together around shared dishes, any time of the day. Marielvi Falvino
Chef

A native of Venezuela, Marielvi Falvino has learned to master the art of gastronomy and wine and food pairings during her many years of travel around the world, and in particular in New Zealand and Australia. When she moved to Montreal, she took a position as sous-chef for Pintxo Restaurant. Since then, she has risen steadily up the restaurant ladder and, in 2014, she became head chef at Else’s Restaurant.

Today, Marielvi Falvino is in charge of Hotel ZERO1’s new restaurant, the Z Tapas Lounge. Drawing on her global travels, she translates her life experiences into a colourful, one-of-a-kind menu filled with flavour.
